Had a great time last week writing with and then hanging with my bro, Cowboy Troy. Met Big and Rich later that night, then watched Troy and Big & Rich tear it up on stage.

My song "Countrified" is going to be featured on "American Ninja Warrior" on NBC this evening. This is the USA vs. the World episode, and the song should be featured at the top of the episode as the American theme song. The lyrics have been tweaked a bit to represent this :)

Drake Bell's "Bitchcraft" official video dropped last week on YouTube. Happy to be a co-writer on this song with Drake — the first single for his new album, Ready, Steady, Go! The single was produced by Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats.

Apparently I had a song on The Watch.  The song is called "Drinking Time."  Who knew?!

I was honored to be a part of the massive "What To Expect" franchise, when I wrote original music for What To Expect When You're Expecting: The Workout DVD along with composers Russell Ali and Ralph Carter who also contributed to this project.  This was released in late 2012 and seems to have great user reviews already! Purchase one for all your pregnant friends today :) 

Risa Binder just released the official video of the lead single from her CD, which we wrote together, "Paper Heart." The video features snippets from live performances as well as animation sequences. 

I'm very excited to have my song "The Hunter," written by myself and Stewart Cararas as the theme song for the critically acclaimed series Alpha Dogs.  Check it out on Nat Geo on Fridays!



 

Watch out, Leatherface is back!  

I have a song in the new movie Texas Chainsaw 3D, which opened in theaters January 4.

It's a song called "Normandy," with a vintage country sound that plays towards the end of the movie.  You'll have to watch and see what happens during the scene!


 

My band Totsy recently toured with the Brian Setzer Orchestra, as the opening act for his Christmas Rocks Extravaganza Tour.  I couldn't have been more thrilled about hitting the road with one of my all-time guitar heros.  We left town on November 14 and performed in 22 cities, including the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, before ending the tour on Dec. 17 back home at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.  We were on the road away from our families during Thanksgiving, and Brian treated all of us to Thanksgiving dinner.  This guy is a total class act.  Oh, and we met some amazing fans along the way and had a blast getting to know Brian's talented players as well.  Bucket list?  Check, check.
